Gwen Fletcher was awarded the Member (AM) in the General Division of the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2007, in recognition of her immense contribution to financial planning. In 1980 she applied for one of the first Australian licences to be a financial planner. Three years later she established the Investment Training College in Sydney. In 1990, with John Green, she established Fletcher Green Financial Services in Sydney and the following year was instrumental in the establishment of Financial Planning Association, and was its first president.

Future2 Ambassadors
The first Future2 Ambassadors were appointed in early 2010, to lead Future2’s push to raise its profile and to create a pool of funds for grant-making. Today our Ambassadors are:

"The focus of our Ambassadors will be on creating awareness of the foundation in the broader community through their personal and business networks, and perhaps to make contact with potential donors to Future2" Mr Helmich added.
