Make The Difference! Grants

Future2's Make the Difference! Grants program was launched in 2007. Since then 15 grants valued at over $150,000 have been made to not-for-profit and charitable organisations working with disadvantaged young Australians.

Supporting the young and vulnerable

Future2’s grants focus on the under 25s who may be financially disadvantaged, homeless, juvenile justice offenders, drug or alcohol dependent, disabled or Indigenous. Grants are awarded to projects and programs in the areas of financial literacy, skills training, work experience, community service or mentoring.

Engaging financial planners in the community

The Make the Difference! Grant program is designed to encourage the involvement of financial planning professionals in community projects by requiring their endorsement and support of each grant application. All grant applications to date have been made by charities and community groups with the support of members or Chapters of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In 2010 for the first time Future2 also invited members of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) to support grant applications from qualifying charities.
