Future2 Foundation appoints
financial planning head to its Chair
The trustees of Future2, the foundation of the financial planning profession, appointed Steve Helmich as trustee and Chair on 16 September. A director of AMP Financial Services who has long worked for professionalism in the financial planning sector, Steve has been an active supporter of Future2 since its inception in 2007. AMP is a founding benefactor of Future2 having donated $110,000 to its support of Australians in “necessitous circumstances”.  more...

Future2 shortlists grant applications; applauds FPA Chapter support
Future2 has reported an increase in the number and calibre of Make the Difference! Grant applications this year. By the closing date on 31 July, 21 applications had been received covering a wide spectrum of community based projects supporting the underprivileged, the homeless and those affected by poverty, and those impacted by drugs and other disadvantages.
